Where polymers take shape... as technical profiles!
Extrusion is a thermal deformation process that allows the production of products with a constant cross-section (tubes, bars, profiles, sheets). It is used both for metals (steel, aluminium, copper, etc.) and for plastics (rubber, polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, polycarbonate, etc.).
How extrusion takes place: the material brought to the softening temperature is compressed through a mould, called a die, and once the desired shape is obtained, it is stabilised inside a water-cooled calibrator. After this operation the profile is "pulled" towards towards the final part of the machine where the production process ends.
With 2 extruders for granulation, 8 extruders for PVC, 2 extruders for HDPE and the fact that we work 24/7, we are able to meet the required deadlines even for large quantities of profiles.
