Who We Are

Our story: a journey of constant reinvention!

Recar today

Here's what we've become: around 7,000 square metres of covered area on a total site of 25,000 square metres, with three business sectors: plastic extrusion, metalworking, and outdoor equipment.

2026

We are about to completed the fourth warehouse, which will serve as the logistics hub for the entire production site and.... we got the ISO9001 certificate!

2025

Line 10 has arrived, bringing with it eight PVC extrusion lines and two high-density polyethylene extrusion lines.

2024

Fifty years – and it feels like only yesterday when we first opened the gates of our old Carcare headquarters. Now, here we are, celebrating a remarkable half-century of adventure and growth.

2023

We get the panel bender installed, and after a few twists and turns, our production line is humming along. A real game-changer, especially when tackling those large-scale items.

2022
Here's the first fibre laser, with 8 kW of power for cutting stainless steel up to 20 mm thick.

2019
In the midst of the COVID period, we don't stop and we start working on a new material for film-holding profiles: polyethylene. After several months of field tests, at the beginning of 2020 we started marketing the RT10P profile. High-density polyethylene (HDPE) is easily recyclable and malleable, thus an extremely suitable material  even in extreme conditions; just think of the  Vicat value above 110°C.

2007
The foundations are laid for the first building in Saliceto, in the Sattamini industrial zone. Things are really taking off at Recar.

1998
The first PVC profiles were created from an idea of the owner. A product that would make Recar a benchmark in the Italian greenhouse scene

1992
We don't just extrude PVC granules; we also want to produce them for our own needs and for the market. We are introducing a compound mixing system into the production process.

1988
Recar is sold by its founders Mr and Mrs Mazzarello to Mr Bruno Savoldelli, the current owner. The period of expansion begins.

1974
Here is Recar, which stands for RE sine CAR caresi. It started out in a rather ramshackle production facility in the early 1970s, a time when you could do anything as long as you were resourceful.
